Dear Friends:
Please take a minute to view this video of our children in Marigot, Haiti. Unlike the chaos anddestruction, you view daily on the news, these children continue to go to school and most importantly have their only meal of the day. I don’t want to minimize the urgency of our cause. Life everywhere in Haiti is horrific, but because of your support for the past 30 years we have been able to educate and feed thousands of children. Unlike many organizations, 95% of our donations goes directly to Haiti. We are a little organization that does big things!

Our Mission Is More Urgent Than Ever
For 30 years, Providence Haiti Outreach has been the only financial support for the children of St. Dominique School in Marigot, Haiti. We opened our doors to 50 children and now educate and feed over 800 children from three schools. Since our founding, more than 5,000 children have been provided with safe classrooms, nutritious meals (often the only one they will have that day), an advanced curriculum and talented teachers. However, the urgency of our mission has intensified.

PHO is challenged to meet the basic needs of our expanding number of children at a time of unparalleled humanitarian crisis in Haiti. Terrifying gang violence in Port au Prince is affecting the entire country. Families are fleeing for their lives or hiding at home. Cholera is on the rise. Gas is $35 a gallon. St. Dominique School has become more than a place of education for our children, it is a safe haven.
