Rev. Robert P. Perron, Director of Providence Haiti Outreach (PHO)
Fr. Perron is Pastor of St. Michael's Church in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. A Catholic priest for 35 years and is the current President/Director of PHO since 2011. He has worked with the children of Haiti for over 30 years. He has four Masters Degrees and works extensively in the Diocese of Providence in combining parishes and working with challenging ministerial situations in the diocese. Father is the Director for the Diocese of Providence Propagation of the Faith. He has been involved with Healing Ministries for the last 25 years.
Susan Whipple, Vice President
Monique T. Renaud, Treasurer
Monique has a BA in Political Science from Rhode Island College, married to Paul, resides in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA; retired as Vice President of Administration and Finance. Presently President of Books Are Wings, a non-profit organization whose mission is to give free books to children of needs, serves on the Pawtucket Planning Commission, is a Eucharistic minister at Holy Family Church in Pawtucket.
Mary Anne Quinn, Secretary
Mary Anne has a BA from Providence College, M.L.S. University of Rhode Island, married to John, has four children. She is a Reference Librarian at the Warwick Public Library in Warwick, Rhode Island. Presently serves as a Eucharistic minister at Holy Family Church in Pawtucket and volunteers at the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen.
Rev. Wilfrid Gregoire
Kenneth O'Grady, Board Member
Ken is married to Marion, has two grown daughters, a step son and three grandchildren. Graduated from OLP Seminary High School and College and then an MED from Providence College.Presently retired from thirty plus years in teaching and school administration. Active member of Whitmarsh House, an organization that runs group homes for teenage boys and few developmentally disabled young adults. Member of St. Patrick Parish in Providence.
John Quinn, Board Member
John is professor of Mathematics at Bryant University since 1991. He received his Sc.B degree from Brown University and M.S. and PH.D from Harvard University. He volunteers at the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen and formerly coached youth baseball and basketball, married to Mary Anne and has four children.
Susan Marandola, Board Member
Susan is the CFO of The Cedars, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, located in Cranston, RI. Susan has been assisting in fundraising for Providence Haiti Outreach for the last 25 years and now serves on the Board. Susan has been married to Steve Marandola for 22 years, and they have one son, Stephen Jr.
J. Taylor Shortsleeve, Board Member
Taylor attended the Belmont Hill School followed by Middlebury College, where he majored in Molecular biology, Biochemistry, and Spanish. He participated in varsity tack and field and holds the winter high jump record at 6 feet, 5 inches. Graduating from Middlebury in 2015, Taylor worked as an EMT in Boston for one year, and is now attending the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He plans to graduate with and MD in the spring of 2020. Taylor's future plans include a residency in internal medicine and a plan to work with NGO's to further global health. During his time on the Board, Taylor has visited Haiti and helped to conduct a health clinic for the families of St. Dominic School. His interests include the health of the community, the sustainability of Providence Haiti Outreach and the marketability of talents of our graduating students.
